Suggested Items To Bring To A Show
If you are getting ready for your first show, you might not know what items to
bring with you.
Here are a few suggestions to help you get everything ready. You'll probably be unable to
sleep
the night before because of the excitement of hauling bunnies off to the show table. At
least
you'll be able to relax in the knowledge that you have some of the basics ready to go!
Good Luck!

- Pack your bunnies with lots of hay in secure carrying
cages. Placing the bunny in a carrier with lots
of hay around it helps to keep your bunny secure and helps prevent against pulled nails
while in
transport. Further, it gives your bunny something to munch on during the big day!
- A supply of food
- Water and a water bottle to be placed on the carrier
during the show. On a warm summer day,
I pack an ice chest with ice cubes to place in the cages to give the bunnies some cooling.
- A small table or some kind of set up along with anything
you use for grooming to prepare your
bunny for his big appearance
- Pedigrees of the bunnies you will be showing and any you
may have with you for sale.
- Business cards and any information about your bunnies
- A comfortable chair (you can't stand at that table all
day:>)
- Something to snack on and drink during the day (Often
there is no food available or the food can
be expensive)
- In the winter months make sure you are dressed for the
weather as some shows can be a bit chilly!
- Lastly, if you have an extra carrier bring it along just
in case. Shows are one of the best places to
look at new bunnies and ask questions of other breeders. You want room just in case you
find that
perfect bunny for sale!!
