JOIN A LOCAL CLUB

If you are just starting out as a breeder of Netherland Dwarfs or have acquired a dwarf pet that you wish to show, please strongly consider joining a Netherland Dwarf club in your area. These local clubs offer a number of valuable resources and help sponsor the wonderful shows we count on in our hobby. As a beginner the other breeders in a club can offer a wealth of information that comes from direct experience. Reading about hypothetical situations in a magazine or book can be helpful but when you need real advice for a pressing current issue, fellow breeders can be your best resource.

So, ask around and find out what some of the local clubs are in your area. You will receive newletters and information which are well worth the membership fees. Once you join, try to get involved and take advantage of the opportunity to interact with other people who love those little gems as much as you do!!
